the Fridays: No. 11

one-- This week Coach Husband went back to work like many high school coaches across the state of Texas.  I gave him a sleepy send-off when he left the house at 5:30 a.m. Monday morning & promptly crawled back into bed.  I had grand-plans of getting CH a new hat for his back to season present and even had gone as far as to purchase the black floppy hat and put it in my car to take to be embroidered when he texted me a picture of one the coaches had ordered as a staff.  Needless to stay I am still counting that as my BTS gift.  Here's to hot August camp, the smell of sunscreen & the beginning of a new season.  GO LIONS!
two-- Since coaches did head back to work I got lucky enough to hang out with this guy all week!  He went to Vacation Bible School in the mornings, spent his afternoons playing Sorry! with me, saw Secret Life of Pets, picnics in my classroom and we ended the week with a snow-cone from my favorite snow-cone place in town.  It was a good week together for sure.

three-- Becca & I celebrated my birthday last week with a trip to see Beauty & the Beast the musical put on by our local civic theatre.  It was hands down the best show I have seen them perform in the history of ever.  We had a blast seeing this classic, favorite come to life.

four-- Spent a couple of days in my classroom this week and I am excited to report IT IS FINISHED.  Full classroom reveal coming soon.

five--  My monthly shipment of Plexus came in this morning & the newest product, Edge was there.  This little bottle is going to help me power through teacher in-service and that incredibly stressful first week of school.
